The MetaFungal project is coordinated by Professor Sandra Paiva  and the Co-PI is Professor Margarida Casal, at the Department of Biology/Centre of Molecular and Environmental Biology (CBMA), School of Sciences, University of Minho, Portugal.

The MetaFungal consortium involves a team of researchers from the University of Minho (CBMA) and researchers from VIB-KU Leuven, Belgium (Professor Patrick Van
Dijck). The project also includes Professor Alistair JP Brown (University of Exeter, United Kingdom), as a consultant.
