Scope of the Workshop
The MetaFungal Interface Science Workshop: Global Challenges in Fungal Infections is organized in the scope of the Project MetaFungal - Metabolism of carboxylic acids in Fungal Infections - PTDC/BIA-MIC/5246/2020 - funded by national funds through the ‘Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia’ (FCT) I.P. (http://doi.org/10.54499/PTDC/BIA-MIC/5246/2020). The MetaFungal project is coordinated by Professor Sandra Paiva (https://cbma.uminho.pt/people-detail/?userid=54) and the Co-PI is Professor Margarida Casal (https://cbma.uminho.pt/people-detail/?userid=40), at the Department of Biology/Centre of Molecular and Environmental Biology (CBMA), School of Sciences, University of Minho, Portugal. The Project involves international collaborations at KU Leuven (Professor Patrick Van Dijck), at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Professor Joaquin Ariño) and at the University of Exeter (Professor Alistair Brown).
