CellMeD2
2nd Meeting in
Cellular membrane dynamics
May 23, 26-29 (2025) | Braga (Portugal)
Satellite Spring School on Research Leadership and Career Development for Early-Stage Researchers

Scope of the meeting
This meeting will explore the dynamic processes, structures, mechanisms, and functions associated with cellular membrane behavior across diverse organisms, from mammals to fungi.
Key topics will include organelle dynamics, membrane trafficking, membrane contact sites, lipid homeostasis, and advanced imaging technologies such as super-resolution microscopy and cryo-electron microscopy.
We will also highlight the relevance of membrane dynamics research in areas such as medical mycology, oncobiology, medical physics, and neuroscience.
This event is organized within the framework of the FCT-funded MetaFungal project PTDC/BIA-MIC/5246/2020.

In conjunction with the main meeting, a Satellite Spring School on Research Leadership and Career Development for Early-Stage Researchers will also be held. This will be a hybrid (in presence and online) school organized within the framework of the Arqus European University Alliance and the Arqus Innovation Fund.
